High Wycombe isn't on the flight path but does receive a low rumble on take-off depending on the prevailing winds. I live in the middle of the Wyckie and can hear the FIFO boys & girls take off in the morning but it's a very distant rumble for approx 10 secs. There is a third runway coming within the next 10-20 years (approx.) which will position it closer to High Wycombe but once again it won't be on the flight path.

High Wycombe receives very little airport noise. If Guildford and Belmont are on a scale of 8.5 out of 10 (they are under the flight path) then I would rate High Wycombe on a scale of 2. The planes take off and land roughly in a north/south direction, and High Wycombe is to the East of the airport. Generally you can hear a low rumble from the jet engines.
