"The Suburb in Demand ......"

I have lived in highland park for 14 years and have never seen the suburb looking so good.... The owners are all very proud of their homes and gardens and it is such a pleasure to drive through each day. This said it has certainly helped increase the prices.... Well done all....

Looking for a home in Highland Park?

"Everything you need is right here!"

The only thing Highland Park doesn’t have is the beach, but it really has everything else! Cineplex Cinema Nerang has cheapest movie tickets on Gold Coast (also cheapest snacks) 4 op-shops, Aldi, Bunnings & Officeworks. Highland Park Shopping Plaza has the friendliest newsagent, great bakery & the friendly Poolwerx as well as gourmet Southern Cross Organic Butcher. Wonderful breeze, kangaroos & a variety of bird life. Three primary schools nearby & an indoor swimming pool. Nerang has a talented jeweller at Nerang Jewellers & Le Vintage retro cafè has incredible food!

"Amazing elevated views of the Gold Coast"

Area is immersed within nature reserve and overlooks the Gold Coast
Away from the hustle of the Gold Coast and
yet close enough to beaches, services the M1 and transport.
Great access to the beautiful Gold Coast Hinterland

"Best Balanced Suburb on the Gold Coast, Can't Find Fault"

Been living here the last 3 years and it was the best decision we ever made. Streets are clean, low traffic and wide. Good views of the city. Majority of people take care of their homes. Close to parks, shops and schools. Not too far from the M1 as well.

We regularly have Kangaroos visit us out the front of our place. Underground power and NBN.

Predominantly owner occupiers in our street, young to middle aged families.

Not to mention it is much better than a lot of suburbs on the GC and cheaper. For what it is, its extremely good value for money.

Property values here are outperforming a lot of other GC suburbs. People are starting to pay a premium to live here. Get in quick.

Rentals in Highland Park

"Views to die for"

Our street in the "The Outlook" is beautiful, friendly, and peaceful. But the views are what this street is all about and they are amazing. Everyone in the street is considerate of their neighbour, is observant and house proud. We all get into the Christmas spirit. Please be careful if you come to visit, as we get Kangaroos in the street in the mornings and at dusk.

There are 2 distinct areas of Highland Park - the one on the hill with the views, beautiful homes and high owner occupier rates. The other area is low lying and close to the motor way. It has a high percentage of rentals and is viable to lower socioeconomic residents.

"Loving Highland Park"

We have lived in Highland Park for 8 years. We love it here. The views are AMAZING. It's 15 minutes to everywhere. We have great neighbours in a big wide street. We have always felt really safe and had never had a problem with theft. We are about to sell but will only move a few streets away. Worongary State School is fantastic.

"Far enough away to enjoy it all"

amazing views, pick your street though some agents call parts of nerang highland park to help resale. be sure where highland park starts and ends. Just ten mins Broadbeach beaces, shopping or 7 minutes to robina town centre. Picks are armstrong way, the outlook area, for architectural homes and views from high 500s to million plus. You will see the value at night when you enjoy the view and quiet surroundings. Shame you have to drive down nerangs alexander drive to access, thats the only downer but its worth it. Go for it, beats carrara, parkwood, pac pines ashmore for value and no need to stare at neighbours fences in highland park

"'The Outlook' is what makes this underrated suburb Gold Coast's Best Kept Secrets!!"

Highland Park is one of the Gold Coast's Best Kept Secrets. With its underated convenience to the M1, Nerang CBD, Nerang Rail, & so much more local infrastructure nearby, including public & high schools, medical centre, cinema, plazas & malls.. the list goes on.. and to top it all off, its only approx. 8 minutes drive to the heart of Robina which is booming by the day, and only 15 minutes to Broadbeach or Surfers Paradise & the golden surf.

What makes it so special is because Highland Park is not so far but very close to everything on the Gold Coast. I mean the M1 can be seconds or a couple of minutes away from your Home which will take approx 55 minutes to Brisbane, and now only approx. 25 minutes to the Gold Coast Airport with the new Tugun Bypass.

A truly wonderful suburb.. and here's the icing... there's a special place high on the hills with a strong exclusive name locals call it 'The Outlook', rumored to be named by the Land Developer who is rumored to be a billionaire Japanese Man who has a reputable property portfolio under his belt.

'The Outlook' says it all, glorious panorama views that stretch from as far as South Stradbroke Island to the glittering lights of Coolangatta.. The views of the entire Gold coast is absolutely breathtaking by day and unbelievably surreal by night especially the skyline backdrop.. just magical.. you can spend hours gazing into that skyline..

Don't be fooled to think that Highland Park is close to suburbs with a scarred reputation.. you'll miss out on a good buy here.. according to reputable property sources.. highland park was voted the no.1 suburb that was cheaper to buy than to rent in 2009... so i guess it depends on you.. are you an owner occupier looking to live near other owner occupiers.. or are you an investor looking to capitalise on a good buy and secure some positive geared returns as people are always looking to rent in a exceptional rental market at the moment.. not everyone can afford a 20%+ outlay for a deposit at such uncertain economic times..

From my calculations and research on land value around 'The Outlook', which was established around the year 2000, in the last 10 years land value in the area has increased dramatically..

I hope this helps you in making the right choices for you and your family as I've helped great people move into this area before.

8 minutes drive to the heart of Robina - - - - right

Perhaps on a kawasaki 650 if you can avoid the police and get lucky with the traffic lights, miss the road works

20 minutes is much safer and more reasonable

"A great place to...drive through!"

Once again, I find myself apologizing for what I'm about to write. I Hate Highland Park with a passion!!
I get it, I get it...it's a lovely place to raise kids, there are great views of the Gold Coast skyline, it's the little Italy of the Gold Coast. But I HATE it. It's devoid of all character, (stylistic character anyway) and the architects that designed some of the abominations that apparently pass as houses should be hunted down, bounty style and sent back to Sardinia. The local schools are terrifying (I've taught in most of them) and completely lacking in control. The house prices are low and that is a bonus for first time buyers...just be warned. It's awful here....

You rate Pimpama better than Highland Park? WOW.

Kelly Smith

Houses set on a hill with views, with ocean views and breezes and houses that are made for living, not hot prefab housing set on flat blocks, l disagree totally with what you have said re the schools they are maintained and have new facilities, l have lived here for fourteen years and l would hazard to guess, you have a grudge perhaps with the management of the school at the time you were there.
