What are the waters like around Holloways? Both at the beach and in the freshwater rivers?

Holloways Beach, QLD 4878 is located within the Cairns local government area, part of the Far North Region in Queensland.

Into watersports such as kayaking and wakeboarding. Would also like to swim in open water.

Don't swim in the creeks - Tomatis or Bar - as these are home to Crocs. The beach is safe outside stinger season and there is a patrolled beach area. Great stretch for kitesurfing and kayaking. Sl onshore breeze in the tradwind season makes for a chop so wakeboarding probably not so good.
