Reviews of Hughes Road, Sorrento
"Narrowest part of the Peninsula"
Hughes Road would have to be one of the best points of the peninsula being at the narrowest part of the peninsula and the border of Blairgowrie and Sorrento. At one end you have Cameron's Bight which has a lovely beach and a short stroll to the Blairgowrie Yacht Squadron and at the other end is the amazing Koonya Ocean Beach with it's fabulous rock pools on low tide where you can snorkel and explore. Don't forget there is also the famous Koonya General Store for the morning paper and a coffee and essential supplies.
From Hughes Road you can wander into the Blairgowrie Village along the lovely walking trail which will only take you 15 minutes. You can also walk to Sorrento Main Street along a lovely walking trail either along the bay or ocean side and this will take about 20-30 minutes.
