"Most Beautiful Suburb"
Huntingfield is located about 13 kms south west of Hobart. The area is newly developed with most houses being under a decade old. The prominant community groups and services in the area include the Kingborough Family Church, Tarremah Steiner School, Vodafone call centre and Tasmania's largest Husqvarna dealer.
It was designed around a garden emphasis with all of the homes being unique in character, unlike your usual housing developments. Beauty in road design was built into the planning process and it is said to be one of the most beautiful looking suburbs. It is a small community of only 200 houses. So there is opportunity to get to know everyone in the neighbourhood.
It is a very scenic place with views of a bushy valley, farm paddocks, North West Bay, Mt Wellington and the Peter Murrell Reserve. It is the perfect place to bring up a family.
