Which suburb in the Illawarra has seen the most growth in the past 12months ?

Port Kembla! Purchased a property there 5 years ago and it has doubled in value and in the last year has gone up significantly.

All of the suburbs, I think. I know Windang, Primbee and Port Kembla have probably doubled over the past year and well-deserved as they had been underpriced for so long and they are some of the best suburbs - situated perfectly with the beaches and lake, great shopping, close to Wollongong CBD and close to Shellharbour area.

Probably shell cove

Primbee is lovely. Situated beside the lake and the ocean, close to 2 major shopping centres, 10 minutes south of Wollongong and 10 minutes north of Shellharbour. Still able to purchase 1/2 blocks backing onto the lake. This suburb will boom soon when people realise what a great little hidden gem it is.

Haywards Bay is booming just such a great area

The shellharbour area possibly? Shell Cove and Flinders are expanding all the time with new land releases.

I would say Helensburgh is booming right now.
