"Quiet, affordable suburb"

I enjoy living here, it is quiet with a mix of older and newly built houses. Lots of facilities close by. Not too far from the city and still affordable.

"A great starter suburb"

Ingle Farm is a suburb just after Walkley Heights and is in close proximity to popular shopping centers, etc, in the North East. The residents that live in the area are average. They kind of look after their houses, but not as much as the surrounding areas. It is around 25-30 minute drive to the city, 30-35-40 minutes to the beach, 10 minutes to TTP (Tea Tree Plaza) and 15 minutes to Golden Grove Village. So, for a starter house finder that wants to live in a simple suburb, this will be the perfect opportunity.

The only disappointment about Ingle Farm is that the houses are old, and should be refurnished. Other than that, its good for a starter. Its also average safe and pretty quiet.

Great for

  • Shops
  • City and beach
  • Great starter residential area.

Not great for

  • Old houses. Should re-furnish the area.

"Good value, Family Friendly and close to everything!"

After 10 years I still believe this is one of the best value suburbs in Adelaide - close to everything - shops, schools, child care, restaurants, transport, parks - but without the fuss and the price tag!

"Great shops and easy access to the city"

Out on the other side of Grand Junction road in the north east it isn't too far from the city but far enough out to not be too busy.
Ingle Farm has a great shopping centre with a good selection of shops. If its not at Ingle Farm its not far out to Tea tree plaza.
The area is well established and many of the houses have been built in the last 30-40 years so there are a lot of cream brick houses. It is a great area for families that want the lifestyle of the suburbs but don't want to be too far from the city.
