Carlucci's Templestowe

As a recent newbie to Templestowe, I was at Anderson St recently on a Saturday night and noticed how busy Carlucci's was. I love Italian food (married to an Italian so it needs to be good when we eat out), can anybody recommend Carlucci's? How does it compare to Sammy's a few doors down?

Thanks for helping out a newcomer!

Carlucci's is great, very convenient with a nice family atmosphere. The food is tasty, with a lot of variety and the takeaway pizzas are the best in the area.

Sammy's is also good, I often have the Chilli Prawns. However Carlucci's is just a little better in my opinion. You really can't go wrong with either.

My advice is to go to the lovely Italian Delicatessen that has just opened up in James Street in the past 12 months and cook for your wife a nice Italian Meal :)

Hi JVS,

I've been to Carlucci's many times before, and I quite like it. It's been around for such a long time, but overall it's not bad. They apparently are the biggest sellers of Lavazza brand coffee in all of Victoria (it might even be Australia...and that's my useless factoid for the day!!)

Kid friendly as well, FYI.

AJ.
