Ahh, I would highly recommend a trip to nearby downtown Peekskill. They have a stupendous farmer's market on Bank Street every Saturday morning from 8 AM to 2 PM. It is absolutely filled to the brim with wonderful vendors that showcase everything from produce to pies to handmade soaps. It is a very popular market (said to draw 25,000 visitors per warm weather season) that is sponsored by the Peekskill Business Improvement District. It really is a wonderfully festive and cheerful atmosphere and good wholesome weekend fun for the entire family.
