Is Jindalee safe?

My family and I are moving back home to Perth from the UK and looking for a suburb close to the beach, nice primary schools, a dog beach and a community feel and Jindalee seems to tick all the boxes. My main concern is safety because I'll be returning to the mines doing fifo and I know that when i used to live inn Perth Butler wasnt the nicest of suburbs had a bad rap. Have things changed? Do I need to be concerned with its closeness to Butler and Quinn's rock.
I hope I don't sound like a snob but I need to know my family is safe while im away.
