28 Kms long and ends in a field. Traverses the River most or the way. Progessive local Residents group. 17 kms out we have a theatre, community hall which regularly has many of the gifted actors musicians and talented amateurs performing.
Beautiful friendly safe place to be.
Having been many places in the world and having lived in cities and on country beaches etc I would rate the Kalang valley as equal to anything in the world.
Great for
- Absolute privacy , peace and quiet
- River runs most of the way adjacent to the road
- Friendly people who dont intrude.
Not great for
- Flooded in regularly 3-4 times each year
- Road is quite narrow and windy
