"Busy Short Cut"
For commuters wishing to avoid the busy Epping Road, Kent Road gives some respite. Busy during daylight hours, especially in peak periods, it carries traffic from Herring Road to Lane Cove Road. As well as modest homes, the street also has a playing field and Kent Road Public School, which is surrounded by a 40 kph zone before and after school.
