Snakes in kilmore?
Hi just wondering for residents in kilmore have you seen many snakes in your backyards? And if so whats a good suburb still close to melb cbd but still leafy with hardly any snakes. Thanks

Hi Jordy,
I live in town in Kilmore, and I spend quite a lot of time at all different times of the day and throughout the year walking around both the streets and lovely green areas such as monument hill reserve, the golf course, the cemetary, the kilmore east playground and the hudson park/kilmore creek area etc. I have never seen a snake (though I would love to, I think they are amazing creatures), but I have seen a platypus once in the creek and also many wallabies, birds and a few echidnas, and can often hear pobblebonk frogs.
