Reviews of King Edward Street, Penguin
"An extremely busy small street"
Close to the markets, sporting grounds, beach, shops, parks and pubs. Traffic can be very heavy during sporting events, every Sunday for the markets and a street that is a common route for public transport. The street is too narrow for parking, which is allowed in certain parts of one side of the road.
A noisy rooster resides across from the markets, which makes any sleep ins from 4am to 6am just about impossible, despite the owners best intention of keeping it quiet.
