What is Koondoola like near the small shopping centre, Koondoola Dr I think.
Koondoola, WA 6064 is located within the Wanneroo local government area, part of the Perth (Greater) Region in Western Australia.
Used to live in nearby suburb 20 years ago, I remember those shops had a good bakery! But, I didn't really fancy spending too much time there. Has it improved at all? A family member might be looking at that area and this would be the local shops.

It isn't too bad, but I wouldn't be hanging out there at night. The area has improved quite a bit since you were in the area. People have fixed up houses and the roads have been redone so it generally looks a bit better. I used to pass through from other suburbs and still go past occassionally visiting relatives in Ballajura. Back when we first moved out that way there were no other shops or petrol stations so we had to go to Koondoola to get bread, milk and petrol, drs and all that stuff.
