Reviews of Kummara Road, Edens Landing
"Quite street and a great place to live"
With only one way in (Buckley Street), Kummara Road, does not have the through traffic of other streets and is therefore relatively quite. This also helps to keep the local burn out eggheads out of the street. It also seems to help keep crime to a minimum. In four and a half years living in the street, we never suffered a break in, neither did the neigbours on either side or across the road. The houses on the lower side of the street enjoy backing onto a nature corridore and there is a lot of birdlife around. The only downside to Kummara Road, is the noise from Beenleigh Road, however it really isnt that bad, and certainly something you get used to and pretty much forget after a few months. Anyway, there arnt many places left in Suburbia where you get total piece and quite. Edens Landing itself is one of the best suburbs in the whole area - it is the reason we moved there in the first place, and Kummara Road, is a great street to live in. If we were going to move back to the area, I would deffinately buy in Kummara road again, mainly for the fact mentioned - it is not a through road, and therefore there is very limited traffic.
