We are moving from NSW to WA and need to find a safe, family friendly suburb quite close to the CBD
Lathlain, WA 6100 is located within the Victoria Park local government area, part of the Perth (Greater) Region in Western Australia.

Lathlain has it all, big blocks, family friendly, parks, trees, quiet, central, close to transport, shops, cafe' strip and CBD and the River!
And its only 5 mins from the city! (except for peak hour of course).
South Perth is a pretty nice area for families, especially if you're in the area thats not too far from the foreshore, the housing near mends street might not be as good for kids and peace and quiet as you have the pub and resteraunts on mends street, great for a night out though! If you went down a bit further opp the large grassed area and a few streets back, theres lovely houses in quiet streets and then you can walk to mends street for an icecream, walk down to the mends street jetty and catch the ferry accross the river to the city, or you can go to one of the many really good playframes that are all around that area. There's even a Macdonalds, hungry jacks, and KFC within 2 mins drive from that area too and you have an IGA supermarket on mends street and there are main shops coles etc. half a dozen streets away as well! Pretty much has everything you could possibly want and need for a family. xxx
You can't fault Carine Young families very close to beach Transport and shopping centres Parks and good schools it's got the lot!
