Mooroopna is a fantastic little town for children to grow up in. You have the small town lifestyle, with all the essentials only a 5 minute drive away in Shepparton. I grew up in the Lenne Street area, and it is a very friendly and safe neighbourhood, and there are very rarely any disturbances. It is a short distance from the town centre and there is a Milk Bar in short walking distance. It is close to the local Catholic Primary School, and a School Bus runs down the street every morning and afternoon at a very small cost. There are playgrounds and a Skate Park close by, being ideal for families with kids. Mooroopna is a comfortable 2 hour drive from Melbourne, and just over an hour drive from Bendigo.
