"Country feel near city"

Very nice living 30min from CBD but on 2000 sqm block with huge garden and neighbors far away. Can't believe I didn't move here sooner the value for money is really good. Fantastic shade from trees and elevation.

"Lots of trees suburb"

Easy to drive to the city, close to Kalamunda for shopping & services and great if you prefer trees and bush. People are friendly and land blocks big enough to not know what your neighbours are doing. Also terrific if you are looking to permaculture your own fruit & vegie supply. We love the established trees & birdlife.

"Snotty neighbourhood, neighbours very unfriendly with extreme superiority complexes"

Beautiful hills location, fresh air and greenery, but over the years it has become noisier from increased traffic. Public transport is not brilliant, schools are not the best either. The worst factor by far is the snobbish attitude of neighbours with the view that you are absolutely "not good enough" for the area, and are very quick to dob you in to the local council because they do not like your cat, your dog, your roof colour, or you, and so on. For this reason, I would absolutely not recommend it particularly if you have kids or pets. It is such a terrible shame though, because other than the beach suburbs, it is probably one of the nicest looking areas of Perth and abounds with beautiful flora and fauna.

"Snooty"

Lived there for a year and enjoyed the greenery. However found residents to be reserved, snooty and uppity. Phone/internet reception was very poor and had to travel far to get anywhere. Oh and the smoke from woodfire during winter was bad for my sinuses!
