We thought it’d be interesting to do a retrospective of the most striking homes that sold in 2017.

Without further ado, here are the most popular and astonishing homes featured on homely’s Instagram in the past 12 months.

1. Waterfront wow-factor.

With its jaw-dropping waterfront position and Middle Harbour views, it’s no wonder this was our most liked home of the year. Some of ‘The Bluff’s’ luxury features include a private jetty, a Spanish mosaic tiled swimming pool and underfloor heating. It sold in June for a tidy $6 million and was later rented out for $3,100 a week.

2. Flawlessly renovated Edwardian.

Elegant from every angle, this attractive four-bedroom property sold in April for $2,575,000. Part of this home’s success can be attributed to the respect with which its period features were lovingly restored, a separate garden studio space and the lush Jaye Metcalf designed landscaping.

3. French farmhouse tree change.

7. Opulent riverfront abode.

Overlooking the Swan River and Perth skyline, this sublime home was withdrawn from the market earlier this year and is currently listed fully furnished to rent for $3,250 a week. 8. Jaw-dropping cliffhanger.

This staggering home is listed for sale for $2million+ and was featured on Channel Nine’s Amazing Homes TV show. Designed by Brad Read the four-bedroom home looks out over the treetops below all the way to the Sunshine Coast.
