No way. There is very little crime overall in Lincoln Park, and I doubt you'll have any issues there.

Lincoln Park is one of the safer areas of the city. The population of Lincoln Park is largely affluent families or students (DePaul). There are plenty of apartments for singles or larger homes for families. I never felt unsafe living there, even when I went out alone at night.
