"Grab a Shade Tree"
On one side of Lindsay Street where it intersects with the Stuart Highway, is the supermarket complex containing Coles, Target Country, newsagency, pharmacy, liquor store, bakery, cafe and souvenir shops. On the other are council buildings surrounded by trees which are very popular with locals in the heat of the day.
