"Garden Island Sands, south of Cygnet in the channel region"

Lowes Rd leads down to a quite little beach side residential area, it is beautiful, peaceful and the air is crisp and clean. There is a boat ramp at the beach for fishing or just having fun on the water, kayaking down the creek is relaxing and at times you may spot a local Wedge Tail Eagle flying high over looking for his next meal. Summertime at Garden Island Sands sees an increase in residents as people and families come together for holidays, people walk, ride bikes and horses along Lowes rd down to the beach. Garden Island Creek and Garden Island Sands are great places for those who would like to be self sufficient hobby farmers, there is a sense of acheivement in growing your own produce. Cygnet is only a short drive away to indulge in fine food and retail therapy, ther are also schools in Cygnet, Woodbridge is also not far away for another experience in fine food and beautifully relaxing with Woodbridge District School also being located there. A really great way of life for those looking for some thing special.
