Is MacGregor a fire prone area?

Macgregor is not identified as a fire prone area. However like most suburbs in the ACT, bush fire risk assessment has been undertaken and future assessments planned. The assessment has put in place fire trails as a requirement to allow ease of access for the fire brigade and clearance zones just to be on the safe side as per most suburbs in Canberra. There has also been plans put in place to ensure that if a grass fire was to start it would have limited space to climb and grow.
