Depends on the network your mobile service uses (Vodafone, Telstra or Optus). Telstra offers 4G throughout all of Macgregor, Vodafone offers 4G in some areas of Macgregor, and Optus only offers 3G outdoors in Macgregor.
Using Amaysim (Optus), I only get 3G in the new/west Macgregor area, and the reception on average is 3/5 bars on my Android device. The reception is rubbish when I am inside my house at the south end.
