Yes, they would attend mainland high schools, as no HIGH schools on the SMBislands. Closest is Victoria Point High School, a ferry and one bus ride away, also private schools also, ferry and one or two bus rides away, dependent on which one they attend. The building of a High School at Redland Bay has been touted, recently, if built, that would be closest to the islands. I think it would still represent a ferry and one bus ride away, judging by where it would be situated, so too far from the Redland Bay Marina/Ferry Terminal to walk. Lots of high school aged kids travel each day to high schools on the mainland. Hope this helps
