Yes there would be some, but in short supply. Word of mouth would be your best avenue for finding one. Once you know people over here, most people will help you out if you mention you are looking for work, they will know someone or know of someone looking for people. If you are a senior on Jobsearch, it used to be that all you had to do was work 12? hours per week at volunteering. A couple of places to volunteer are both the Macleay and Russell Op shops, for further information re this, best to contact Bay Island Community Services, there head office is on Russell.
