Info on relocating a home v constructing new
Macleay Island, QLD 4184 is located within the Redland local government area, part of the Brisbane Region in Queensland.
I understand there is a $50k bond to relocate a home to the islands. My question is, do council charge a bond for a new build? Also what are the relative costs of a 2 bedroom home for new build and relocation.

I believe Redland council require a deposit for relocated houses. Building can b expensive due to transport costs.
There are established homes in all price ranges but it is wll worth having a good look. Th island can vary.
