Is it easy to get employment in Macleay Island?

When we moved here in 2002 we were told we'd never get work and if we started up our own business nobody would ever pay you. We have always been employed since the 2 month we moved into our new home all those years ago and we have run 3 very successful business aswell. It's all in your attitude!

There is very little work and commuting is a nightmare. It may be more possible to run your own business if you can discover a market for your skills.
