If you want to live in a place where your outcast until you have lived on the island for many years here is it. don't even think about starting up a business because the locals will refuse to shop at your business in support for the what 5 shops on the island run by small business owners. and they don't want change if you open up a clothing shop people will turn their nose up and say we already have a clothing shop. but fact is the clothing shop on the island caters to 1 type of dresser. a unfashionable hippy and old folk. i don't thnik they even have kids clothing. let allown if you want to buy baby cloths or kids shoes. that about covers the welcome someone trying to start out on the island. generally its a safe place. but if you want everyone to talk about you, and everyone knowing everyone else s business than this is the place for you. their is not a lot of moving forward on the island because the locals try stop anything good to the island f

I have been living on Magnetic Island for the past 5 years. Magnetic Island is a 5 star destination to visit for your next holiday and will be for many years to come once seen you allways come back. You will feel a very warm wellcome by the local residance of about 2,500 people.
The Island is very Unique in every way, It doesn't matter where you live on Magnetic Island there are no mistakes to be made, we have thousands of holiday makers come every year but you wouldn't know it with 23 beautiful Bays to visit the holiday makers are here there and every where. What can I say the perfect location.
The Coral Reef on the door step, the Whales passing through every year, and the perfect weather all year round. Magnetic Island roads and its views are outstanding, I live on the as we would call the main road Horseshoe Bay Road, and we have no problems still quiet and very happy I would reccomend Magnetic Island to anyone.
