Maldon, VIC 3463

Maldon is a fantastic town to work and live. The town has a vibrant community feel, a great primary school and beautiful places to eat all with easy access to Castlemaine, Bendigo and Melbourne.

I lived here for a year. Hated it, nasty people and you have to be born here to be a local. Sure, they're nice to the tourists because they want the money. Speaking of money, that's all the locals care about because there's no real jobs here. I'm a teacher, so they hated me because I was on "such a high income"....."why don't you give $5,000 to the fire brigade????"
We moved to Castlemaine, a nicer spot and jobs a plenty.

Come for a stay. Lots of b&b accommodation, great walks, shops. Winter festival, Easter festival, annual folk festival - all great fun for everyone.

The Maldon Historic Bakery is AWESOME, they have the best pies and pasties in the world without a doubt. Now that they have their dine in facilities, I can't go past without stopping in for a quick bite and a great tasting coffee, the girls are so friendly and always happy to see me.

This property is in Baringhup West, not Maldon.

It is not on the electricity grid, and is in the middle of nowhere!

Don't waste your time!!!

Maldon has a beautiful atmosphere most people are friendly possibly need to live in area and be members of clubs to get involved in community activites there are many, fantastic golf course, walking places. What I love about Maldon is the beautiful clear starry nights you can almost touch the stars - no polution! The local hospital has the most wonderful caring staff and beautiful views, a perfect place to be cared for and no parking problems.
