Kawana Forest Estate

Is Kawana Forest Estate a safe and friendly suburb suited for families? I am interested in moving to the area due to the beautiful and scenic surroundings of the forest. I am aware that the forest is low lying and is susceptible to flooding and wondered if homes in the area were affected by the recent flood event of 2022. From what I have read, most homes in the estate sit at least 6m above sea level
