Main Beach it the most popular beach in Merimbula and is fairly safe for swimming and protected most of the time. It is patrolled during the summer holidays.
Pambula Beach is a short drive from town and is great for swimming and surfing and also patrolled on weekends over summer and during the peak period.
There are literally 100's of beaches along the Sapphire Coast so you can always find one to surf at, swim, fish, snorkel or just take a walk. The choices are endless
