What is your favourite swimming beach in and around Merimbula?
Merimbula, NSW 2548 is located within the Bega Valley local government area, part of the South Eastern Region in New South Wales.

There are loads of great beaches and swimming areas around Merimbula and on the Sapphire Coast.
Main Beach is the most popular and patrolled during summer, as is Pambula Beach.
Bar Beach is a great little beach on the edge of the lake with a Cafe and BBQ area, but be careful on an outgoing tide because there will be a rip.
Short Point is great for surfers.
There are some amazing swimming spots like the rock pools at Tura Beach Headland but you will have to ask a local on how to find those.
