I don’t live there but my friend does. From what I have seen it’s half built. Supermarket is a car drive away. Not much in terms of restaurants and cafes yet. It depends on your vibe, but if you like a quiet new build suburban life, it could be the place for you. As you can see you get a large house for little money, although most have tiny gardens.
Big push from developers to get people to build/live there (see above comments).

Mickleham is a varied and sparse area.. you have Mickleham off Mt Ridley rd.. on the north side large 2 or 5-acre blocks ..some even larger... large open spaces ..
Mickleham Trillium Estate.. has an owners corp to use the gym, tennis courts the sporting facilities and large meeting room in the complex.. to hire at a discounted price for the residents. this area has a nice community feel.. now only 5 mins to Highlands Shopping Centre, and around 7 mins to Craigieburn Central Shopping complex.
Along Mickleahm rd now we have several estates becoming available.. Botanical .. has several varied new blocks of land .. to purchase and build..and some ready for you constructed houses for sale... with a proposed large sporting oval and shopping village.
All along the west side of Mickleham road, you have large acreage blocks.

Along Donnybrook road, you have all the New estates, Trijena, Annadale, Warratah, The Woods and the majority of the north side of Donnybrook road is the Magnificent Merrifiled City ..proposed to Open end of 2020
