Actually Mission St is not part of Mission Terrace. Our border is San Jose to the West, Alemany to the East, Onondaga to the South and Still (at the start of Cayuga St.) to the North. The neighborhood has an association here is their Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/NewMissionTerraceImprovementAssociationSF/

Mission Street is a touch more dangerous because there is more activity there, but overall Mission Terrace about average for San Francisco. There has been 1 murder in the area since the beginning of the year (3 months) and 99 assaults--so about 1 every day. (Again, with most of them occuring on Mission Street.)
As to robberies, you get one ever other day, basically. So that gives you an idea of your level of secuity here.
