Reviews of Morley, WA

"Central"

Morley is really Central and you can be in the city in the no time at all.

Good shopping with Coventry and galleria.

A little bit of crime in parts but community looks out.

"Garden city with everything you need!"

Very central location ! Cose to Perth city and china town! Short drive to the airport picking up friends and families ! 20 mns drive to the beach !
Beautiful suburb with friendly neighbours ! I have been living in this area for over four years now ( moved to three places in the same area), never had problems with neighbours and never got broken into, left car doors open multiple times and nothing happened !
You literally have everything in this area, central galleria is one of the biggest shopping centre in Perth, there is newly opened Coventry square around the corner and lots of other shops around the shopping centre, a very short drive(5 to 10 mins ) to the mt lawley for nice cafe and restrnt ! Ever since I have lived in Morley, I only go to Perth city a couple time a year !

I have two dogs and they get walks twice a day regardless . We have 5 parks to choose from around all three places I have lived in Morley.

I take public transport for to work as I don't drive, Morley image so many choices in that regards as well. We don't have children to school yet, but My friend's children walk to school from primary to high school!

One of the bonus about being in the city of bayswater is that we have three bin( include a green bin for garden waste), and you have three bulk bins a year for your house hold to clear the house !

Love living in here !

Rentals in Morley

"Subvidied by Tokin HYW"

Generally speaking , Morley is a big suburb with convienence to live in, since the Gellaria and Coventry fresh market have been established. 20mins to CBD and lots of good schools. The western part of Tonkin HYW is very good to nest or invest while the eastern part of Tonkin HY W is far way from CBD but relatively the price is affordable especially for the FHO.

"Great place to live"

We have lived in Cornwall Close for 4 years - most of the homes are owner occupied and kept to a high standard. It is very quiet being about 300m from Morley Drive. We occassionally hear a siren but due to our distance from Morley Drive it is never loud. We have never had any problems in the street. The bus to the city or to Galleria is just around the corner from us. There is a high school around the corner which was great for us. There are 2 parks within 500m of us - great for walking the dog. We have a great fruit & vegie shop on Benara Road and in the same complex is Avon Valley meat which is great. We are also close to Galleria and the Russell St business centre which has everything from bed stores to textiles to auto supplies etc. The Coventry Square Markets are due to open in about 12 months and this is going to be brilliant - lots of new places to try for fresh food.

"Upmarket suburb with quality homes"

Situated in the northern inner suburbs Morley is approx 10 kms from the Perth CBD. Built in 1994 the Centro Galleria is the second biggest commercial shopping centre in Perth and features supermarkets, large department store such as Kmart, Myer and Target as well as around 227 specialty and boutique stores, a court and cinemas. Morley has some good restaurants as well as the usual multinational fast food outlets and local fish and chip and pizza shops. There are pre primary, primary and secondary schools both state and catholic and the area has some great sporting venues including a swimming pool, playing fields for numerous sports as well as AMF Bowling, rollerdome and many other sporting activities. Morley has a medical centre and is well serviced by several hospital is nearby suburbs. Because of the close proximity to the CBD the housing prices in Morley are quite high although the quality of housing is very high. Rental properties are scarce and prices tend to reflect the demand. Morley is not on a train line and commuting to the city is by bus, private transport or a drive to the near railway station some kilometers away.
