"One of the biggest suburbs in the state"

With one of the states biggest suburbs, Morphett Vale has nearly 10,000 homes within it and really should be 3 suburbs. Plenty of parks , schools and shopping centres through out. We've seen plenty of interest from interstate in the last 2 years too. Overall great suburb to nest or invest.

Looking for a home in Morphett Vale?

"An understated gem"

There's no denying that Morphett Vale and some of the surrounding suburbs have been given a bad wrap, largely because of the lower socioeconomic dynamics. That said, things are on the up... Established properties offer larger than average block sizes so developments are on the rise. The area offers a quick commute to the city, beach, and the coveted McLaren Vale wine precinct as well as a plethora of quality schools, sporting hubs, shops and amenities. Best of all, prices are still relatively affordable by comparison, which allows first home owners a good opportunity to enter the market. This is an up an coming area that is currently flying under the radar. It is definitely an understated gem!!

"Adelaide's Biggest Suburb!"

Morphett Vale is a huge southern suburb with a population of around 25,000 people & is well known for its affordability of housing & plentiful amenities for its residents. It has a wide variety of housing including units, townhouses, smaller homes through to larger family homes on good-sized blocks. It is very popular with first home buyers & investors where investment properties are easy to rent out. Woodcroft College (actually based in Morphett Vale) is a huge drawcard in this area & properties around the college (either for rent or for sale) are generally snapped up quickly! An extremely convenient suburb with excellent sporting, parks & eateries/recreational facilities too. Located around 25kms south of the CBD, prices will range from $250,000 - $600,000 on average.

"Great Hood."

I have lived here for 6 years. Bought a house. It has gone up in value $80K. I leave my car unlocked every night, never a break in. Im in a good street with Great neighbours. Close to Many shops. Public transport. Schools. Good parks nearby. I cant fault it except for one Neighbour that annoys me. The Vale deserves a way higher rating than 217th Haha.

"Not a desirable suburb"

Too many cons, almost an hour to the CBD, a rough neighbour hood and surrounding areas are just as bad. Not an ideal locatikn unless you are on a tight budget.

I think it's unethical for you to utilize this site to promote yourself ... you're hardly a credible agent if that's what you're doing ... since you clearly have ulterior motives!

Hmmm, Alyssa I tend to disagree. If Sarah had failed to disclose that shes a real estate agent reviewing the suburb, then sure thats a bit unethical, but shes being upfront that shes providing a professional review as a real estate agent.

"Farnsworth Drive - Beautiful setting for a great family life"

Hidden away on the Easterly fringe of Morphett Vale, Farnsworth Drive is an absolute gem. Well laid out and running in a north/south direction it's home to some 76 residential properties, as well as some great green open spaces.

Properties on the Drive are well established and sport lovely frontages. The community is serviced by the local Woodcroft shopping centre, which houses a top class supermarket and specialty shops.....and it's well within walking distance from Farnsworth Drive for those who like to get out and about.

For those with children, there are a number of schools and childcare/kindy's in the immediate area, so all ages are catered for. This is an easy access address that's sure to add to the enjoyment of living down south - HIGHLY RECCOMENDED!
