"Not a desirable suburb"
Too many cons, almost an hour to the CBD, a rough neighbour hood and surrounding areas are just as bad. Not an ideal locatikn unless you are on a tight budget.

This suburb and surrounding areas/suburbs are not in anyway desirable. It is well known in Adelaide that Davoren Park has many anti social issues, high unemployment ect. Good on Playford alive for trying to lift the area but people have to want to work and take some pride in their property. They tried to lift Port Adelaide several years ago and it fizzled out, I think it could be a similar story here another Billion down the drain no wonder the state is going broke.
Going broke? Mate the state isn't even in debt, there as actually in a lot better position financially than other states are.
No,we SA is well over 6 billion dollars in debt. Go online and read the state budget finances before making uninformed comments. Makes you look a bit silly mate.

6 billion on 80 billion revenue is ok. Eventually the government gets a big cut of the revenue. The velocity of money in Australia is about 6 so every 8 weeks every dollar in circulation has 10% GST removed to federal gov. who then pass this onto state gov.
Woops I meant GDP not revenue but you can think of the state as a business because 10% GST is applied to the money in circulation so often.

Some nice areas, and some shocking areas. Choose carefully as Paralowie has lots of unemployment and antisocial problems.

A small housing trust suburb right next to Mawson lakes. Houso's would be an accurate description.

Which suburbs ? Taperoo is changing daily with new housing / developments happening daily.
Largs is the 2nd greatest % gain in housing prices SA and this sits next to taperoo

Another stupid comment from realityb! Appears to be making baseless comments on Just about every suburb in Adelaide... It could be a bordem issue.

Cheap, industrial area, surrounding areas like the Port and Taperoo just move on and don't bother in this area.

Taperoo and Smithfield are sister suburbs. High crime, housing trust, unemployment. Needs a huge makeover before you want to live in this area. NOT for families.

Not a place for to bring up a family, western suburbs equivalent to Elizabeth. Cheap housing maybe ok for rental ect

"A growing town in the hills"
Council need to think carefully before Mount Barker becomes more grid locked than it already is. But it's definately got all the shopping and I like their " Rundle mall " shopping precinct.
Haha, I just LOVE how your writing bad reviews about northern suburbs when you constantly brag in your comments that the south is worse! It gets funnier every time!
I don't brag I present facts. As I have said previously certain Northern, Western and Southern suburbs have major crime and unemployment problems. Don't worry I'll be doing reviews on southern suburbs in the near future.
Cant wait to see you brag about how bad the southern suburbs are too.
