When is the NBN coming to Mount Helena?

Well Elly, um well, never. You see Western Australians just scratch around in dirt and rocks to make a living. As we all know the productive capacity of Australia lies in the Eastern States. In the Eastern States we have all the economists, bankers, politicians, lobbyists and so on and importantly the head offices of the NBN and Telstra. The Eastern States just has better infrastructure. In fact, quite recently when I was discussing this with Malcolm over a skim latte in a levy Sydney suburb and how we have invested in new cycle lanes through Sydney and that east West thingo in Melbourne. Why invest in Western Australia when most of the seats to win Government are in Sydney. Sorry, Mt Helena just doesn't rate in comparison. The copper network is the best we can do I am afraid.
