Hi, there is a variety of Birds at both lakes (approximately 70 species at various times of the year). There are the more common varieties as you would expect (swamphen, coots, grebes, stilts, various species of Ducks, Black Swan, Kookaburras, Honeyeaters, Silvereye, Hobby, Black Cockatoo, Butcherbird, 28's and so on), but occasionally some less common species can be spotted. These include the Red-capped Parrot, Swamp Harrier, Brown Goshawk, Whistling & Black Shouldered Kites, Rainbow Bee-eaters, Rufous Whistler, Grey Fantail, Egrets, various species of Heron...and if you're really lucky a spoonbill.
