"A peaceful area right in the centre of the Sunshine Coast"
Our street is very long - approx. 3 km - so as I live at the eastern (beach) end of the street, that is the area I'm referring to.
At the end of the street is first of all a massive park with childrens playground equipment, barbecues and plenty of covered eating areas. Then we have our fabulous beach which is patrolled by life savers every day of the year. We also have 3 eateries, a bakery, hairdresser and a general store/newsagency. There are bus stops right there for local and interstate buses.
At the western end of the street is a medical centre and a comprehensive shopping centre.
We have very little noise problems and for a beach suburb, there are very few "yahoo" problems . Its as though this is a forgotten little peace of paradise - and we like it that way.
There are a lot of long term residents and most of the residents are very community minded and very proud of our area.
