Good suburbs in Murdoch Region?

When Fiona Stanley Hospital opens I will be working there. I was wondering for any good suburs/areas nearby that have good public transport and are fairly close to necessities. I have a 13 year old son and a 17 year old daughter (+1 year by the time it opens). Budget $700-800 000
