Can anyone recommend an area to live that is near Nambour, and by the beach?

My partner and I are planning to move to the sunny coast from WA. We are very outdoorsy, active and big beach lovers. Two working professionals, just needing a small rental. I have work in Nambour. We like the sounds of Coolum, I am wondering if it will be too far to travel to work. We really want to be as close to the beach as possible. I would be happy to travel about 20 mins to work.
