Thought I'd link you to this helpful list - a set of delicious lunch or dinner choices for under $2. Can't go wrong there!

Where is the list? I don't see it. Or were you intending on providing a link?
Oh dear! sorry @hhusted - http://newyork.seriouseats.com/2006/09/for-sale-eating-pleasure-price.html. here it is!
Thanks. Much appreciated. Very interesting eating, indeed.
That's a nice little list there...
@ajadedidealist Thanks didnt know about City Bakery's hot chocolate shot ..hope BroadwayBk takes note too..for the small hot chocolate is indeed way too rich..
A pity lots of the items are desserts or not necessarily healthy, though. Although I have to wonder about City Bakery - if a shot is $2, how on earth much is a cup???
Are the Central Park pretzels under $2 still? If so I'd like to add them to this list - they make a yummy and filling midday meal!
I'm not into pretzels that much. But if I do eat them, I prefer the pretzel sticks. This way I eat how many I want and go from there.
@uptowngirl I saw the tiny cups when I went! But I thought I could handle a small....so wrong.
@ajadedidealist A small hot chocolate was around $5. But then again I also got the special that day, chili hot chocolate.
And for the record an entire cup of the stuff WAS too much. I loved it, but couldn't drink more than half of it. A shot sounds excellent.
@ajadedidealist yes BroadwayBK is right it is $5 for a small hot chocolate even during the festival.. come to think of it its quite extravagant....a shot is ideal.. I need to get there before the festival terminates this year... just havent had the time...
Just tried the Ginger one last week! It was amazing. Although, I did get the small instead of the shot. Maybe it's a mental thing, but I like the idea of holding a cup of hot chocolate when it's cold out. The shot thing just doesn't do it for me.
