Katz's vs Carnegie

What do you guys think? I kinda prefer Carnegie. The pastrams on rye really blew my mind.

You might also want to throw the 2nd Avenue Deli into the pastrami & rye mix.

I don't know Carnegie but Katz' pastrami and rye appeared in my dreams days afterward.

Nothing like a good pastrami and rye sandwich. I just had my first one recently and now I'm addicted!

I haven't been to neither so I can't say. However, I'll check out each one and see which is better. I'll report back when that time comes.

I never had pastrami before living in the city, so I completely associate pastrami and rye with the lower east side. Therefore I guess I have to vote for Katz's, even though when I lived on the block a random tourist would ask me how to get there at least once a day.

I gotta try the 2nd Ave Deli. Katz is great -- but, I don't think it holds up against Carnegie.
