I have a simple solution as to what to do with the turkeys - eat 'em!

Oh, come on. Even turkeys have a right to live. There are situations where turkeys are sold to outlets where they are killed, skinned, and sold to stores, but not every turkey has to go through that trauma.

Anyone heard about those farms where you can "meet" your Thanksgiving turkey? I find it creepy and morbid - but I suppose that's hypocritical of me as I have no problem just buying one from the store.

@Ajadedidealist: What gets me is seeing the turkeys get killed just for the sheer reason to eat them for one day out of the year.

Turkeys have a right to live? lololololz! I do not find it creepy that there are farms where you can pick out your turkey. Fresher that way!

@Uraniumfish That link no longer addresses anything about turkeys that I can see...
