Hi Katec17,
Is there a particular area that you need to be, i.e. for work?

Atm not yet. Im still looking for work, and am really needing help on good schools for my kids, if there are good areas for living itd be great if there were good schools near by too so I could suss them out.

Hi Kate,
Do you mind me asking how much rent per week you're looking at?

Ok, that's quite a range.

Wallsend, Cardiff, Glendale, Cardiff South all represent pretty good value for money. You'll be able to pick up a decent three bedroom home for between $380-$470 per week.

The schools around those areas, both public and private and quite good from feedback from family and friends.

Charlestown, Kahibah, Kotara are also good value for money but the closer you get into town (Newcastle CBD, Beaches etc) the more expensive it gets.
