Newham, VIC 3442

We have been here for a few years now and it gets better every year. The Newham village is small but very well formed .We have a local shop that sells most of what you need and much more, great meals , coffee and above all it is a great meeting place for the localsand visitors to the area. Our school is known for its very good acheivements. It is a small school with less than one hundred students who all enjoy a great enviroment and rock solid education. The high schools are easily accessible via bus that picks up at the local shop. The area is know for its great beauty. Hanging rock is visable from most areas in Newham. Mount Macedon and the Camels Hump are also visable. We have the Jim Jim and the Cowbaw forest on our doorstep . Melbourne is easily within 50 minutes drive and the freeway is only 10 minutes down the road. We have great shopping in our near by Market towns of Woodend and Kyneton and larger towns are within 20 minutes drive. We have a very safe community , if you need help with anything someone is always ready and willing to help. My children love it here hopefully there children will as well.
