Can you help me, I can't figure out between Mooloolaba and Noosa, please read below for more info.

I will be running my own high end (Elite) home cleaning business and bond cleaning. I will not be doing the seasonal rental homes. I am also planing on starting a market food stall that will eventually turn into a food truck. I pretty much know where my business/work will and either Mooloolaba or Noosa will work. What I want to know is where will be the most interesting place to live? I am 40, my long term partner is working overseas so I will be alone a lot, I don't and won't be having children, I still like to go out for dinner and occasionally live music, I'm social and freindly. Are there any people like me up there? If so where?

Hi, I would be bias to Noosa. Noosa I feel while well populated maybe a little more of a relaxed lifestyle. We have awesome markets - Noosa Farmers Market and only a short drive to the famous Eumundi Markets. We have great bars, clubs and live music and many venues spread across Noosa, Tewantin, Noosaville, Sunshine and again Eumundi is just a short drive. Like any coastal town we do get busy in the holiday season but it only adds to the atmosphere. You can not go past the beautiful Noosa River for morning walks, afternoon drives and the go old fashion weekend BBQ. Don't forget we are also only 25 - 30 minutes from Maroochydore, Mooloolaba etc so why not live in one of the most beautiful places in Queensland and work just down the road :)

My family is relocating from Thailand, we are looking somewhere between the Gold Coast, Bribane and Sunshine Coast, but Noosa sounds really nice. My wife is Thai, in her mid 40s, speaks English, is a great at Thai home cooking style, js keen vegetable gardner and has a great work ethic it would be great if we could contact you before we come over later in the year (waiting for her visa to come through), She would be looking for work in a food business and cleaning, to begin with would be finem too. She is really keen to get her life moving in Australia. She would be a n amazing asset for any business. Let me know. We are just keen to make a network of contacts in this area prior to the move

After just spending a few days on the sunshine coast I would definitely go for Noosa - it has charm, and has everything you need and is not too yuppy. However, it is expensive - but there are great alternatives that are close by eg. Tewantin (5 mins away) and on the river. Also Sunshine Beach is beautiful too and only 5 minutes away.
Mooloolaba is quite boring, and looked like lots of retirees when we were there. Lots of 70's resort type hotels, and very boring shops. The beach is nice - but the whole place is lacking in charm and character. Coolum is full of character and beach is beautiful. slightly hippy, very laid back.
